That someone is Dave Burke and that something is the Real Talk Network

The American economy has long been awash in a sea of debt, unfortunately. The average American household is home to thousands of dollars worth of debt, either in credit cards or low interest loans. Indeed, virtually anyone can get approved for various loans and credit cards these days. Cheap credit is a feature of the economy at this point and an unfortunate one. This easy access to cheap credit has encouraged many individuals and families in America to take on more debt than they can afford to pay off. More and more you hear about people who have taken on so much credit card default that they cannot pay it off. The recent recession has certainly done nothing to help that situation, to be sure. With higher unemployment that the United States has had in years, more people are making less money than three or four years ago. This means that the average income has come down. Meanwhile, many of those people who have lost income are maintaining their spending levels. These people will, often enough, find themselves buried under a mountain of debt that is virtually inescapable.

I say “virtually” inescapable because in almost every situation there is someone or something that can help them to pay off their debt and get back on a sustainable path, financially. That someone is Dave Burke and that something is the Real Talk Network. Burke and the staffers at the Real Talk Network are debt and credit counselors who attempt to help American families and individuals get out of debt or avoid debt before it becomes a problem.
